EDITORIAL BOARD POLICY
Research Nexus Publication Journal (RENP Journal)
1. Purpose of the Editorial Board
The Editorial Board of the Research Nexus Publication Journal (RENP Journal) provides academic leadership, strategic guidance, and quality oversight for each hosted journal under the RENP Journal platform. The Board ensures that all journals maintain high scholarly standards, ethical integrity, and international visibility.
2. Structure of the Editorial Board
Each hosted journal may include: Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editor(s), Section Editor(s), Editorial Board Members, and Advisory Members (where applicable). Board composition reflects disciplinary expertise, academic credibility, research productivity, and geographic diversity.
3. Eligibility Criteria
- Hold a doctoral qualification or equivalent terminal degree.
- Possess a strong record of peer-reviewed publications.
- Demonstrate subject expertise aligned with the journal’s scope.
- Have familiarity with peer review and editorial processes.
- Uphold recognised standards of research integrity and publication ethics.
4. Roles and Responsibilities
Editorial Board Members are expected to review assigned manuscripts, provide objective evaluations, support editorial decision-making, and promote the journal within academic networks. Board members must maintain strict confidentiality regarding submitted manuscripts.
5. Ethical Standards
Members must adhere to international publication ethics, including avoidance of conflicts of interest, fair manuscript evaluation, and compliance with research integrity principles.
6. Term of Appointment
Membership is typically granted for a fixed term (e.g., two to three years) and may be renewed based on performance and continued relevance to the journal’s scope.
7. Remuneration
Editorial Board membership is an honorary academic service role and does not attract financial remuneration. Members receive professional recognition through listing on the official website.
8. Conflict of Interest
Board members must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from handling affected manuscripts where necessary.
9. Resignation or Removal
Members may resign by written notice. Removal may occur in cases of persistent non-performance, ethical violations, or conduct inconsistent with academic standards.
10. Policy Amendments
The Research Nexus Publication Journal (RENP Journal) reserves the right to amend this policy to align with evolving academic publishing standards.
