1. Introduction

The Research Nexus Publication (RENP) Journal Platform welcomes qualified researchers, academics, and professionals to serve as peer reviewers for its hosted journals. Peer reviewers play a vital role in ensuring the quality, credibility, and academic integrity of scholarly publications. Individuals interested in contributing to the peer-review process may apply to become reviewers through the Reviewer Registration System available on the RENP Journal website.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to ethical research and publication practices.

Applicants with prior peer-review experience may be given priority during the selection process.

Individuals interested in becoming reviewers must complete the Reviewer Membership Application Form available on the RENP Journal website.

Applications are evaluated by the editorial team based on:

  • Academic qualifications

  • Assess the quality, originality, and relevance of the research.
  • Submit review reports within the specified review timeline.

Reviewers are normally expected to complete manuscript evaluations within two to three weeks after accepting a review invitation. If a reviewer is unable to complete the review within the specified timeframe, they should notify the editorial office promptly so that alternative arrangements can be made.

8. Policy Updates

The Research Nexus Publication (RENP) Journal Platform may update this policy periodically to reflect evolving standards and best practices in scholarly publishing. Updated versions of this policy will be made available on the journal website.

Reviewer Incentive and Recognition Program

Research Nexus Publication (RENP) Journal Platform

The Research Nexus Publication (RENP) Journal Platform recognises the vital role of peer reviewers in maintaining the quality, credibility, and academic integrity of scholarly publishing. To encourage active participation and acknowledge the valuable contributions of reviewers, RENP has established a Reviewer Incentive and Recognition Program that combines publication benefits, professional recognition, and opportunities for editorial advancement.

1. Free Publication Incentive

As part of the incentive program, reviewers who actively contribute to the peer-review process may qualify for a Free Article Publication (Article Processing Charge – APC Waiver).

A reviewer who successfully completes: Seven (7) peer reviews within a six (6) month period will be eligible to receive: One (1) Free Article Publication (APC Waiver) in any RENP Journal.

This incentive aligns with the journal’s standard APC value and provides reviewers with the opportunity to publish their research without incurring publication fees while supporting the journal’s peer-review system.

Eligibility Conditions: To qualify for the APC waiver:

  • The reviewer must complete seven (7) peer reviews within six (6) months.
  • Reviews must be submitted within the assigned review deadline.
  • Reviews must be constructive, objective, and academically sound.
  • The review must be approved by the handling editor as satisfactory.

Only reviews that meet the journal’s quality and ethical standards will be counted toward the incentive.

2. Instant Reviewer Certificates

To recognise reviewer contributions promptly, RENP provides digital reviewer certificates for each successfully completed peer review. Once a review is accepted by the handling editor, the reviewer will receive a Certificate of Peer Review Contribution acknowledging their service to the journal. These certificates may be used for: Academic promotion and appraisal, Curriculum vitae (CV) documentation, Institutional reporting of scholarly service, and Professional recognition within the research community.

3. Reviewer Recognition on the Journal Website

RENP also acknowledges active reviewers through public recognition on the journal website. Reviewers who successfully complete peer-review assignments may be listed on the RENP Certified Reviewers Page. The listing typically includes: Reviewer’s name, Institutional affiliation, and Country. This recognition enhances the reviewer’s academic visibility and demonstrates their contribution to scholarly publishing.

4. Editorial Board Pathway

Outstanding reviewers who demonstrate consistent commitment and high-quality evaluations may be considered for appointment to editorial roles within RENP journals. Reviewers who complete 10–15 high-quality peer reviews may be eligible for consideration as: Editorial Board Members, Associate Editors, or Section Editors. This pathway provides an opportunity for reviewers to advance their academic service profile and contribute more actively to the editorial development of RENP journals.

Purpose of the Program

The RENP Reviewer Incentive and Recognition Program aims to: Encourage high-quality and timely peer review, Recognise the academic service of reviewers, Build a strong international reviewer community, and Support the sustainable growth and credibility of RENP journals.
